Kerala cops arrest drug ‘Captain’ in Bengaluru

Congolese national Rengara Paul has been living in Bengaluru since 2014 on a student visa.

The Kerala Police, along with its Karnataka counterpart, arrested a 29-year-old Congolese national, in connection with an international drug smuggling ring. Rengara Paul was apprehended in Madiwala, Bengaluru. Paul’s arrest follows the detention of Vipin, found with 200 grams of MDMA in Ernakulam. The foreigner, known as “Captain” in drug circles, had been living in Bengaluru since 2014 on a student visa.
