Third look of 'Vidaa Muyarchi' unveiled. (X)
The makers of Vidaa Muyarchi have released the third-look poster, featuring Trisha and Ajith. Trisha is playing the leading lady in this most-awaited Tamil film.
Revealing the third look on Friday, 19 July, Lycaa Productions (the film’s producers) wrote on its social media handles: “Adding a touch of fondness! Presenting the third look of #VidaaMuyarchi. Witness the Vintage pair #AjithKumar & @trishtrashers.”
As mentioned in the social media posts, the third look of Vidaa Muyarchi reflected the fondness between Trisha and Ajith as actors. The photo in the poster must have been clicked at an outdoor restaurant for a song.
The first-look poster, revealed in June, showcased Ajith walking along an Azerbaijan highway carrying a bag in his hand. The makers released two second-look posters earlier this month. While one of them featured the actor wielding a vintage gun, the other had him riding an SUV.
Ajith and Trisha are collaborating for the fifth time after Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).
Vidaa Muyarchi is expected to be an action thriller. It is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions. It also stars Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in major roles.
The film’s shooting commenced in October 2023. It was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan. But he was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.
Vidaa Muyarchi boasts an impressive technical crew, including cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and stunt master Supreme Sundar. Netflix bagged its digital streaming rights.
Meanwhile, Ajith is simultaneously working on director Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly. While his Magizh Thirumeni is yet to get a release date, Good Bad Ugly is planned for a Pongal release in 2025.
The big-budget movie will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The cinematography is handled by Abhinandan Ramanujam.
Ajith’s previous release was Thunivu (2022). He is also known for his passion for motorcycling. Malayalam actor Manju Warrier, who was inspired by Ajith’s passion for biking, bought a high-end motorbike.
In May last year, Ajith announced that he would soon launch a motorcycle touring company called AK Moto Ride. The motorcycle touring company would provide a fleet of meticulously maintained adventure touring superbikes, which would ensure reliability and performance throughout the tours.
On the other hand, Trisha is shooting for the Telugu film Vishwambhara alongside Chiranjeevi and Kamal Haasan’s Tamil flick Thug Life. She also has two Malayalam movies in her kitty—RAM headlined by Mohanlal and Tovino Thomas-starrer Identity.
