Vidaa Muyarchi second-look posters out

Vidaa Muyarchi, the highly anticipated Tamil film that marks the first collaboration between Ajith Kumar and director Magizh Thirumeni, is generating significant buzz. Touted as a stylish action thriller, it recently drew attention with its first-look poster, though some cine-goers found it plain and boring.

To address this, the makers have released not one but two striking second-look posters featuring Ajith Kumar.

The Vidaa Muyarchi second-look posters, tagged with “Efforts never fail,” showcase Ajith Kumar in an intense look.

In the first poster, he rides a vehicle in an all-black outfit and matching sunglasses, flaunting his signature silver hair and beard. The second poster features the star hero holding a vintage-style gun, wearing the same all-black outfit, and displaying a sober expression with a hand on his chest.

The second-look posters of Vidaa Muyarchi, suggest that Magizh Thirumeni’s directorial effort is more than a mindless action flick. It is safe to assume that the makers are hinting at a fight for justice and a cat-and-mouse game between the protagonist and his rivals.

Vidaa Muyarchi is anticipated to release around Diwali 2024, potentially clashing with Suriya’s upcoming film Kanguva, directed by Siva.

A major update, including the much-awaited teaser, is expected in a few weeks.

The Ajith-starrer, bankrolled by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions, boasts a diverse cast, including Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Arav, and Regina Cassandra.

Ajith and Trisha previously collaborated in Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).

The technical crew of Vidaa Muyarchi includes Anirudh Ravichander composing the music, marking his third collaboration with Ajith after Vedhalam (2015) and Vivegam (2017), with Om Prakash handling cinematography and NB Srikanth on editing.

The filming for Vidaa Muyarchi commenced in October last year. Originally, it was set to be directed by Vignesh Shivn. However, due to creative differences with the production house, he is no longer involved with the project.

Ajith, last seen in Thunivu (2023), also has Good Bad Ugly under the direction of Adhik Ravichandran in the pipeline.
