Thangalaan: Tribute video unveiled on Chiyaan Vikram’s birthday

Studio Green and Neelam Productions are producing the Tamil flick. Tamil Praba has co-written it.

Thangalaan casts Parvathy Thiruvothu as the female lead. The other cast includes Malavika Mohanan and Pasupathy and British actor Daniel Caltagirone.

The OTT giant Netflix has bagged the digital rights for the movie.

It will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. It has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Kishore Kumar.

During the teaser launch, PA Ranjith said he would usually give suggestions to actors on the characters they play. But for the first time, in Thangalaan, Vikram came up with different options for his character.

The movie was scheduled to be released in January but was postponed for some reason. The new release date of Thangalaan is yet to be confirmed by the makers.

However, it is expected to hit the screens after the Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu.
