Meanwhile, the makers have sprung a pleasant surprise for the filmgoers. They are creating the late actor Captain Vijayakanth using Artificial Intelligence (AI). The news has been officially confirmed by Vijayakanth’s wife Premalatha.

Vijay considers Vijayakanth his mentor. The veteran actor helped Thalapathy during the initial days of his career.

It is learnt that director Venkat Prabhu thought of introducing AI-generated Vijayakanth in a crucial role in GOAT. After getting Vijay’s consent, Venkat Prabhu approached Premalatha several times and sought her permission.

In an interview with “Galatta” media, Premalatha revealed that Venkat Prabhu sought her permission to use AI-generated Vijayakanth in GOAT. Given the mutual respect Vijay and Vijayakanth shared for each other, she couldn’t deny the request.

Premalatha will discuss further details about the project with Vijay after the Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu.
