Tamil actor Suriya, who has recently wrapped shooting for Suriya 44 with Karthik Subbaraj, has now signed a new project with Dream Warrior Pictures under the direction of RJ Balaji.
The yet-to-be-titled film is being referred to as Suriya 45. It is anticipated to be an action thriller.
RJ Balaji is known for the 2022 film Veetla Vishesham. While the production house is known for backing critically acclaimed films like Aruvi (2016).
Joker, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Kaithi, Sulthan, and Farhana are some of the other films backed by the production house. However, according to reports Suriya 45 will supposedly be the costliest film of the production house.
The film’s music will be composed by the legendary AR Rahman.

A week prior, Suriya wrapped up shooting with Karthik Subbaraj for the yet-to-be-titled Suriya 44.
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Suriya 44 is one of Suriya’s anticipated films, with elements of romance, humour, and war.
The movie also features Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, and Sujith Shankar in crucial roles.
Apart from Suriya 44, Suriya is gearing up for the release of his most-awaited pan-Indian film Kanguva on 14 November. UV Creations and Studio Green jointly produced it.
The gory period drama, directed by Siruthai Siva, is touted to be an ambitious fantasy action entertainer. Kanguva is reportedly made with a massive budget of over ₹300 crore.
The Tamil film also marks the debut of Bobby Deol in the South Indian language. It also casts Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Marimuthu, Deepa Venkat, Ravi Raghavendra and KS Ravikumar in supporting roles.
