'Kanguva' is the 42nd movie of Suriya. The historical film features Bollywood actor Disha Patani as the female lead.

Tamil Superstar Suriya’s next feature film Kanguva will hit the theatres early this year.
Billed as a “mighty valiant saga”, it is written and directed by filmmaker Siva.
Last year, the makers released a glimpse and a first-look poster, which caught the fancy of moviegoers and Suriya’s fans.
In January this year, the makers released a second-look poster, which hints that Suriya plays a double role in the film.
On Tuesday, 19 March, the makers released Kanguva teaser at the Amazon Prime Video event.
The astounding teaser showcases Suriya and Bobby Deol in their full power.
Kanguva teaser also features some terrific war scenes, ruthless action scenes, and goosebumps moments. Overall, the film is expected to offer an edge-of-the-seat experience to the audience.

The film is bankrolled sby Studio Green’s KE Gnanavelraja and UV Creations’ Vamsi-Pramod.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
It has dialogues penned by Madhan Karky and cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy,
Earlier, director Siva said he was looking forward to finishing the production soon.
“We are delighted to announce the title of Suriya 42 as Kanguva, who is a man with the power of fire, majestically represented by Suriya on the screen, which will be a memorable, majestic, unique, and interesting experience for cinema lovers. We will complete the shooting of the film and announce the release date at the earliest,” the filmmaker had said.
Kanguva is the 42nd film of Suriya.
The movie is shot in Goa, Chennai, and other locations.
Kanguva will be released in 3D in 10 different languages.
