Tamil Superstar Suriya’s next feature film Kanguva will hit the theatres early this year. Billed as a “mighty valiant saga”, it is written and directed by filmmaker Siva.
On 19 March, the makers released the Kanguva teaser, under the name Kanguva Sizzle, at the Amazon Prime Video event. The astounding teaser showcased Suriya and Bobby Deol in their full power.
The teaser also featured some terrific war scenes, ruthless action scenes, and goosebumps moments. Overall, the film is expected to offer an edge-of-the-seat experience to the audience.
The movie is set 1,650 years ago and features Bollywood actor Disha Patani as the female lead.
On Tuesday, 26 March, the makers (Studio Green) released an appreciation video where the responses to the Kanguva Sizzle video were incorporated.
The appreciation video had vloggers and technicians from across the world praising the teaser.
They are visibly amazed by the various mind-blowing shots in the Kanguva teaser.
The technical quality and Suriya’s screen presence received wide applause from them.

Kanguva is bankrolled by Studio Green’s KE Gnanavelraja and UV Creations’ Vamsi-Pramod.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
It has dialogues penned by Madhan Karky and cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy,
Earlier, director Siva said he was looking forward to finishing the production soon. “We are delighted to announce the title of Suriya 42 as Kanguva, who is a man with the power of fire, majestically represented by Suriya on the screen, which will be a memorable, majestic, unique, and interesting experience for cinema lovers. We will complete the shooting of the film and announce the release date at the earliest.”
Kanguva is the 42nd film of Suriya.
It is shot in Goa, Chennai, and other locations, and will be released in 3D in 10 different languages.
