The successful Tamil franchise 'Aranmanai' is coming up with its latest instalment — 'Aramanai 4', starring Sundar C and Tamannaah.

The dry season in the Tamil film industry continues in May 2024, too. There are no major releases the next month.
However, interestingly, the industry will witness many re-releases, including Ajith’s Billa (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Vijay’s Kushi (2000).
Vishal’s Rathnam, which was released on 24 April, evoked a mixed response.
Meanwhile, actor-director Sundar C’s Aranmanai 4, which was slated for release in April, will hit the screens on 3 May.

The successful Tamil franchise Aranmanai is coming up with its latest instalment — Aramanai 4. It will be released on 3 May.
This is the second time Sundar C and Tamannaah Bhatia are coming together after Action (2019).
Raashi Khanna, who acted in the third instalment of Aranmanai, is also part of the new instalment.
Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to act in Aramanai 4 but he withdrew due to date issues.
The film also casts Santhosh Prathap, known for his role in Sarpatta Parambarai along with Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, and VTV Ganesh.
The makers released the trailer on 30 March.

The Tamil movie Star, featuring Bigg Boss fame Kavin, has high expectations since its songs are ruling the charbusters.
The film is set to be released on 10 May.
It is touted to have a unique blend of romance, family drama, and college life.
Star is written and directed by Elan. It stars Kavin, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan Lal, and Geetha Kailasam in key roles.
Kavin’s fans are eagerly waiting for the flick since his Lift (2021) and Dada (2023) are hits.
Santhanam’s upcoming movie, Inga Naan Thaan Kingu, will be released in theatres on 10 May.
The title is said to have been inspired by the Tamil song “Hukum” from Rajinikanth’s Jailer.
Inga Naan Thaan Kingu cast includes Santhanam, Priyalaya, Thambi Ramaiah, Vivek Prasanna, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Attul, Maaran, Seshu, Swaminathan, Cool Suresh, and late actor Manobala.
The film is expected to be an entertainer. It is directed by N Anand and written by Rathna Kumar.
Kurangu Pedal is a Tamil drama directed by Kamalakannan.
It features Kaali Venkat and Santhosh Velmurugan in the lead roles.
The music was composed by Ghibran Vaibodha.
The film is produced by Sivakarthikeyan, Savitha Shanmugam, and SuMee Baskaran under the banners of Montage Pictures and Sivakarthikeyan Productions.
Kurangu Pedal will be released in theatres on 3 May.
