Released in 2016, the Kannada film Kirik Party was a runaway box-office hit. Now, seven years after its release, Rakshit Shetty is all set to bring another entertaining party to the screens — Bachelor Party.
The new venture will feature Diganth Manchale, Yogi, and Acyuth Kumar in the lead.
Abhijith Mahesh is the director. Rakshit Shetty is producing Bachelor Party under his banner Paramvah Studios along with Amit Gupta.
Meanwhile, the Bachelor Party team released a hand-sketched cartoon poster of the film with the tagline: “Not all marriages are made in heaven”.

A romantic comedy, Kirik Party brought the talented duo Rakshit Shetty-Rishab Shetty all the fame and recognition. After the Kannada movie, they made some of the finest films in the Kannada film industry.
Actor Rashmika Mandanna, who debuted with the film, eventually shot to fame with multiple opportunities from big banners knocking on her doors, including the recent box office sensation Animal.
Apart from playing the lead in Kirik Party, Rakshit Shetty wrote the screenplay along with a group of talented writers called “The Seven Odds”. The group comprised Rakshit Shetty, Rishab Shetty, Abhijith Mahesh, Dhananjay Ranjan, Kiranraj K, and Chandrajith Belliappa.
Another member of The Seven Odds, Kiranraj K has directed 777 Charlie (2022). Rakshit Shetty bankrolled it. He acted in the movie too.
777 Charlie bagged the National Film Awards for Best Feature Film in Kannada.
