Rebel Star Prabhas donates ₹35 lakh for the welfare of Telugu film directors

Rebel Star Prabhas has once again showcased his generous heart by doing his bit for the welfare of Telugu film directors.

In a meeting held recently in Hyderabad, the Telugu Film Directors Association (TFDA) announced that Prabhas donated ₹35 lakh towards the welfare of the directors’ body.

The panel hailed the actor’s contribution.

The TFDA is hosting Director’s Day celebrations at LB Stadium in Hyderabad on 4 May.

On 4 May, the Telugu film industry annually observes Director’s Day in honour of the legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao’s birth anniversary and his significant contributions to Telugu cinema.

As part of it, the TFDA extended invitations to renowned film celebrities, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Natural Star Nani, Nithiin, Allari Naresh, Sai Dharam Tej, and Varun Tej.

Against this backdrop, actor Prabhas donated ₹35 lakh to the Telugu film directors.

On the work front, the Rebel Star is currently shooting his forthcoming pan-India film Kalki 2989-AD under the direction of Nag Ashwin.

The makers released the intro teaser of Amitabh Bachchan’s character — Ashwatthama — in the film on Sunday, 21 April.
