Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898-AD promises to be a blend of mythological elements and the future. With its unique narrative and intriguing characters, the pan-India film is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle which fans have been waiting for.

Nag Ashwin has embarked on an ambitious journey with Kalki 2898-AD as he plans to integrate a groundbreaking concept with the epic tale of the Mahabharata.

Aiming to showcase the grandeur of ancient epics to the present generation, many of whom may not be familiar with the history.

Prabhas’ character Bhairava will play a crucial role in elevating Kalki’s journey. The story tracks the events from thousands of years ago with the challenges humanity has been facing even today.

Fans have been writing that the Mahanati director’s commitment to excellence is evident in his approach to post-production. He prioritises high-quality visual effects reflecting the uncompromising standards of his vision.

The film’s release date remains uncertain, with the production team, including Ashwini Dutt, and his daughters Swapna and Priyanka Dutt, engaged in serious discussions.

They are considering several options — May, June, and July. However, due to the lack of consensus, the official release date is yet to be confirmed. This uncertainty has also put other producers on hold, waiting to schedule their releases accordingly.

Ideally, they hope to avoid scheduling conflicts as experienced with Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire (2023).

Fans eagerly await Kalki 2898-AD hoping for a seamless release without disruptions, much like the anticipated release of Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire.
