Directed by Blessy, Aadujeevitham is a survival drama. It is based on a novel penned by Benyamin of the same name. The novel is based on a true story and depicts the harrowing life of Najeeb, who becomes a goatherd on a farm in Saudi Arabia.

Amala Paul is the leading lady.

The pandemic played a spoilsport for the shooting as the crew was stuck in Jordan due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Aadujeevitham was shot in Algeria, Wadiram (Jordan), Pathanamthitta, and Palakkad areas in Kerala.

Prithviraj lost a couple of kilos to fit into his role. In an interview, he said he adopted some unhealthy ways to transform into Najeeb.

AR Rahman is composing the music for Aadujeevitham. Resul Pookutty is the sound designer. KS Sunil is the cinematographer.

The post-production work of the movie is underway.
