“Mozart of Madras” AR Rahman is celebrating his 57th birthday on Saturday, 6 January.

Many celebrities and music lovers wished the music maestro on his birthday.

Telugu actor Ram Charan and Tamil producer KT Kunjumon are some celebrities who wished Rahman on his birthday.

Marking the occasion, the crew of the forthcoming Malayalam film Aadujeevitham released the Behind The Scenes (BTS) footage of AR Rahman.

Aadujeevitham is Rahman’s third Malayalam movie. Blessy is the director. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the protagonist in it.

Rahman earlier worked on two Malayalam films. His first Malayalam venture was Yodha (1992). Its songs are still the favourite of music enthusiasts.

After many years, the Oscar Award-winning music director composed songs for Fahadh Faasil’s Malayankunj (2022).

In the BTS video of Aadujeevitham, Rahman is seen in the desert of Wadi Rum in Jordan, where the film was shot.

The BTS video has the theme music of the movie. In an Instagram post, the crew wrote: “Wishing the Mozart of Madras a very Happy Birthday!”

Aadujeevitham

Aadujeevitham will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Directed by Blessy, it is a survival drama based on a novel by Benyamin of the same name. The novel is based on a true story and depicts the harrowing life of Najeeb, who becomes a goatherd on a farm in Saudi Arabia.

The makers have been working on the film since 2018. The pandemic played a spoilsport for the shooting as the crew was stuck in Jordan due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

The film was shot in Pathanamthitta and Palakkad areas in Kerala, Algeria, and Wadiram (Jordan).

Prithviraj shed a lot of weight for the film. In an interview, the actor said he adopted a few unhealthy ways to transform into Najeeb.

Amala Paul is the female lead in the flick. It also features KR Gokul, Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and Rikaby in pivotal roles.

The movie is produced by Visual Romance. It will be released on 10 April.

Resul Pookutty is handling the sound design. KS Sunil is the cinematographer. Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
