Director Maruthi reveals the budget of Prabhas' The Raja Saab

Rebel Star Prabhas and director Maruthi’s upcoming movie, The Raja Saab, will hit the screens for Sankranthi next year.

Prabhas’ fans are expecting another blockbuster from this combination. Prabhas and Maruthi are collaborating for the first time in this romantic horror.

Meanwhile, director Maruthi shared some interesting updates about the film. He mentioned that he made his directorial debut Ee Rojullo with a modest budget of just ₹30 lakh. And now, The Raja Saab incurred a cost of ₹4 crore in just four days!

Maruthi also remarked that if the movie didn’t star Prabhas, he could have produced two or three projects with the same budget.

Given his revelations, The Raja Saab appears to be mounted on a grand scale and the investment going into the Prabhas-starrer is massive.

TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla of People Media Factory are producing it.

Speculation is rife that The Raja Saab could become one of the biggest hits of 2025.

Prabhas has reportedly allocated extensive shooting dates for Maruthi’s directorial, with the primary schedule set for April.

Fans expect that Maruthi might rise to another league with this project. Shooting for the film is expected to wrap up by October this year.

Prabhas is set to grace the silver screen with his upcoming movies Kalki 2898-AD, Kannappa, and The Raja Saab.

Meanwhile, the preparations for Salaar 2 are also underway. With a strategic lineup of films, Prabhas appears to be in a promising nick with a slew of films.

On the other hand, Maruthi’s Ee Rojullo was re-released in theatres on 23 March. The romantic comedy was a super hit upon its release 12 years ago (in 2012).

The film opened to positive reviews and won the hearts of the college-goers. It featured debutants Srinivas, Reshma and Saikumar Pampana.
