Challenging Star Darshan's 'Kaatera' directed by Tharun Kishore Sudhir is hitting the screens on 29 December.

“Pasandagavane“, the first single from Challenging Star Darshan’s Kaatera was released on Monday, 4 December.
The soundtrack features Darshan actor along with Aradhanaa Ram, the daughter of senior actor Malashree and renowned producer late Ramu.
Released on Anand Audio’s official YouTube Channel, “Pasandagavane” is composed by V Harikrishna. The lyrics were penned by Chetan Kumar of Bharjari (2017) fame. The song has been sung by noted Telugu playback singer Mangli.
The soundtrack crossed one million views on YouTube within an hour after its release on the video search engine platform.
Director Tharun Sudhir Kishore, who helmed Roberrt (2021), helmed Kaatera, which is based on real-life incidents in the 1970s.
Tharun co-wrote the story and screenplay with Jadeshha K Hampi. Maasthi penned the dialogues for this action drama saga.
Kaatera also marks the return of senior actor Vinod Alva to the Kannada film industry.
The other prominent actors in the film include Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, Shruthi, Avinash, and Vaijanath Biradar.
Kaatera is releasing in theatres on 29 December, a week later after Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani-Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas-Prashanth Neel’s Salaar.
The Kannada film is expected to give the two non-Kannada movies a run for their money at the box in Karnataka.
