prabhas Salaar trailer out

The trailer for Salaar: Part 1 — Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, is now available on YouTube. Despite multiple delays, the pan-India film is set to hit the theatres on 22 December.

The trailer, released on Friday, 1 December, threw Prabhas’ fans into a tizzy.

Directed by Prashant Neel, known for KGF (2019), Salaar revolves around two best friends who eventually become dreadful enemies — a concept Neel has been talking about quite often.

Initially slated for release on 28 October, the film faced delays due to post-production work, leading to the finalised release date.

As for the trailer, it provides a glimpse of Prabhas in action and showcases intense scenes elevated by the powerful music composed by Ravi Basrur. Overall, the trailer suggests a promising hit at the box office.

Prabhas plays Deva in Salaar. The young boy promises his friend that he can go to any extent for him.

He says, “Neekosam era ayina avuthaa sora ayina avuthaaNee okkadi kosam! (I could become either bait or deadly shark.. just for you).”

The trailer further goes: “The story goes to the ages, some 1,000 years ago. Once lived a notorious tribe, more cruel and savage than Mohammad Ghazini and Genghis Khan. The clan grew as an undefeatable tribe and ruled for hundreds of years. They flourished and made Khansaar their formidable fortress. Later, it became a kingdom.”

The detailed story can be watched on the screen, but subconsciously, the trailer looks like another copy of KGF and there’s no hint about Yash’s Rocky Bhai (from KGF)!
