Challenging Star Darshan, who kicked off 2023 with a bang through the release of Kranti (2023), aims to wrap up the year on a high note. Anticipation builds as his highly-awaited film Kaatera hits the screens on 29 December.
The 50-second announcement teaser of Kateera released by the makers has taken Darshan fans or the “D Boss fans” by storm with a massive response to it on various social media platforms and the Internet.
Directed by Tharun Sudhir, Kaatera is set in the 1970s and is based on real-life incidents.
Written by Tharun, along with Jadesh Kumar Hampi, the film is produced by Rockline Venkatesh. V Harikrishna, who directed Kranti, has scored music for this one.
The film stars senior actor Vinod Alva, who returns to the Kannada film industry. Other prominent actors in the film include Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, Shruthi, Avinash, and Vaijanath Biradar.
Kaatera will also mark the debut of Aradhanaa, the daughter of Kannada star actor Malashree and Kannada producer late Ramu.
The makers claim that the film is close to reality with minute detail shot to near perfection that would remind the audience of the 1970s.
Most importantly, they say that Darshan fans will witness his impeccable acting skills alongside stardom in a realistic manner.
