Mumbai schedule of Dhanush’s ‘Kubera’ kicks off

Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula are collaborating for the first time.

Kubera also features Nagarjuna Akkineni in a prominent role.

While Dhanush is speculated to play a beggar who becomes rich, Nagarjuna is believed to play an investigative officer.

Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady in this ambitious venture. Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh plays a key role in it.

Team Kubera recently wrapped up the Bangkok schedule.

The first-look poster and teaser created a buzz as they showcased Dhanush sporting a beard and standing against the backdrop of a massive painting near a temple, where “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha” is written on the wall.

Touted to be a rags-to-riches story, the film is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.

Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music and background score.
