Tamil actor Dhanush and Telugu star hero Nagarjuna Akkineni are teaming up for the first time for a project helmed by National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula. The first-look poster of the movie, titled Kubera, was released recently.

In the first-look poster, Dhanush sports a beard and stands against the backdrop of a massive painting near a temple, where “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha” is written on the wall. The poster has intrigued the moviegoers and Dhanush’s fans.

Team Kubera also unveiled the first-look teaser of the much-anticipated flick.

In the latest update, the Bangkok schedule of the film began on Wednesday, 13 March.

In a picture posted by team Kubera on social media, Nagarjuna is seen discussing with Sekhar Kammula. The veteran actor is expected to play an investigating officer in the flick.

Meanwhile, it is speculated that Dhanush will play a beggar from Dharavi who becomes rich.

In another picture taken from the sets, the team can be seen preparing to shoot a crucial sequence.

With the commencement of the Bangkok schedule of Kubera, expectations are running high for the movie.

Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. The film also casts Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh in a prominent role.

Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for this prestigious venture.

Suniel Narag and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are bankrolling the film under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.
