Mohanlal watches Varshangalkku Shesham

Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham is enjoying a good run in theatres across the world.

The film narrates the emotional journey of two friends Murali (Pranav Mohanlal) and Venu (Dhyan Sreenivasan) in the first half. The second half has more humour involving Basil Joseph, Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav.

The movie takes everyone back to the old Madras, once a paradise for Malayalam cinema and other South Indian film industries.

Brought me a philosophical smile: Mohanlal

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, who launched the teaser of Varshangalkku Shesham in February, watched the film and gave his feedback to the team. Interestingly, the actor stayed in Swamy’s Lodge depicted in the movie.

Mohanlal shared a picture of him and his wife watching the movie. His son Pranav Mohanlal played the lead role in the flick.

After watching Varshangalkku Shesham, Mohanlal reminisced about his good old days in Madras.

Taking to his social media, Mohanlal wrote: “Vineeth Sreenivasan didn’t try to evoke memories of hardship faced by actors in that period, but he brought a ‘philosophical smile’ to the audience, which encouraged them to reflect on their past.”

Mohanlal also extended his thanks to the team.

Responding to Mohanlal, Vineeth Sreenivasan thanked the veteran actor. He also stated that his (Mohanlal) phone call after watching the film was something he would treasure all his life.

Mohanlal’s wife Suchithra, who watched the film at a special premiere show earlier, appreciated everyone, including Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Nivin Pauly for their performances and hard work.

Sreenivasan, the father of Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan, also watched the movie and announced that he liked it.
