Malaikottai Vaaliban has huge hopes

Malayalam movie lovers are eagerly waiting for Mohanal-Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming movie Malaikottai Vaaliban. Its shooting commenced in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.

The first schedule of the shoot was held in Jaisalmer for 77 days and the rest will be held at Gokulam Studios in Chennai in May.

Even as the makers are occasionally releasing updates, the film promotions have caught the attention of one and all.

It’s a wrap-up

John & Mary Creative, owned by politician Shibu Baby John, is co-producing the film. It officially announced that Malaikottai Vaaliban’s shooting has been completed.

In a video posted by John & Mary Creative, Lijo Jose Pellissery said: “We have successfully completed the shooting of the movie and we are happy about it.

I take this opportunity to thank the entire team. I sincerely hope that this film turns out to be a movie that is liked by all and we can all be proud of.”

The film’s shooting was held for 130 days and covered many locations in Rajasthan, Chennai, and Puducherry.

Sharing the video, John & Mary Creative head Shibu Baby said, “Malaikottai Vaaliban, our first film has successfully completed its shoot. On this occasion, we would express our heartfelt thanks to all the artists and technicians who worked with the film round-the-clock from the first stage till the pack up of the movie.”

The post-production work will take at least five months.

Thank audiences and media

The production company also thanked the support given by the Malayali audiences and the media at every point of the film’s shooting.

“Now begins Malaikottai Vaaliban’s journey to reach the theatres. During this journey, we hope to receive your sincere love and cooperation”, it said.

Meanwhile, in a video that surfaced on social media, actor Mohanlal said: “We have created something that Indian cinema has never seen before. We have completed the movie despite facing several difficulties, including climatic changes. We are also studying Lijo’s way of making cinema.”

He added that Malaikottai Vaaliban will be the most important movie in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s career.

The first look poster of Malaikottai Valiban features Mohanlal in a fiery look — pulling on battling ropes while spotting an iron kada around his neck. It became a sensation online.

Malaikottai Valiban is jointly produced by John & Mary Creative, Century Films, and Maxlab. It also stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Manikandan Achari, and Danish Sait in key roles.

It will also be released in other major languages ​​of India apart from Malayalam.
