'Neru' is not a part of 'Drishyam' franchise; Kunchacko Boban to play Kozhummal Rajeevan yet again; trailer of 'RDX' unveiled.

Superhit combo Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s upcoming movie has been titled Neru (Truth). A courtroom drama, it is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.
The makers also gave a tagline for Neru: “Seeking justice”.
Speculations were rife that the film would be Drishyam 3. However, the makers clarified that Neru is a totally different project.
The story is written by Jeethu Joseph and Santhi Mayadevi, who played a brief role in Drishyam 2 (2021). The shooting will commence in August and the flick is expected to be released this year.
Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are also doing Ram which, however, got delayed due to the travel restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ram features Mohanlal as a globe-trotting investigative officer. It has been shot in the UK, Tunisia and Morocco.
Earlier, Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph collaborated with each other for Drishyam (2013), Drishyam 2, and 12th Man (2022).
The Malayalam superstar is currently busy with his pan-Indian film Vrushabha directed by Kannada director Nandakishore.

The trailer of the upcoming Malayalam movie RDX has been released. The movie features Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav.
It is directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath.
The trailer introduces Robert, Dony, and Xavier, trained martial arts experts getting involved in brawls. It also shows the visuals of a fight scene at a carnival (festival).
Mahima Nambiar and Aima Rosmy Sebastian are the female leads. The movie also casts Lal, Babu Antony, Baiju Santhosh, Shammi Thilakan, Maala Parvathi, and Nishant Sagar.
RDX is written by Shabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran.
Anbariv, who worked for KGF (2018, Kannada) and Vikram (2022, Tamil), is the action choreographer.
Sam CS is the music director.
RDX is produced by Sophia Paul’s Weekend Blockbusters and is releasing on 25 August for Onam.

Kunchacko Boban will yet again play the role of Kozhummal Rajeevan in the forthcoming movie Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranaya Kadha. It is directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval.
The actor’s character from Nna Thaan Case Kodu (2022) received a special jury mention in the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards. Interestingly, Ratheesh directed the flick.
Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranaya Kadha is the first spin-off film in Malayalam, its makers claimed.
Suresh (Rajesh Madhav) and Sumalatha (Chithra Nair), who played the lead roles in Nna Thaan Case Kodu, are the main leads here too.
Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval wrote the script. The film is produced by Immanuel Joseph and Ajith Thalapilly. Sabin Uralikandy is the cinematographer.
