Labour of love, perseverance, and patience: Indrajith

In a Facebook post, actor-singer Indrajith Sukumaran (also the elder brother of Prithviraj Sukumaran) said Aadujeevitham is a labour of love, perseverance, hard work, and patience.

“It’s never easy to pull off a written classic on screen. Blessy…this wouldn’t have been possible but for your undying love and passion for books and cinema. You just added the brightest feather on your cap,” he wrote.

Referring to Benyamin, Indrajith said, “Benyamin I remember our conversations after I read the book. The world might not have known Najeeb’s story if it wasn’t for you. Thank you for bringing it to light through your pen”.

About Prithviraj, Indrajith stated that he didn’t know what to write about his brother. He said he always knew that the actor in him always wanted to break free and fly higher.

“And Raju, I don’t know what to write about you. Beneath the star glitter, I knew you always had this actor in you who wanted to break free and fly higher! Not always do you get an opportunity to do that. You got one, took it with open hands, and got into the skin of the character with so much vulnerability,” he added.

“Was hard to find you the person on screen, you the actor took the limelight here! Loved the way you internalised Najeeb, the way you modulated your voice, and the subtle emotional nuances.. not to mention the hardships you went through. Congratulations and hugs for the way you pulled off Najeeb on screen,” Indrajith said.

Congratulating the entire team,  Indrajith said everyone including AR Rahman, Resul Pookutty,  and cinematographer Sunil KS was too good.
