Abraham Ozler, Jayaram’s much-anticipated Malayalam medical thriller, is creating a buzz in the industry since reputed filmmaker Midhun Manuel Thomas is helming it.
The director earlier made the psycho-thriller Anjam Pathrita (2019), which turned out to be a successful venture.
Midhun Manuel Thomas scripted two movies this year — Phoenix and Garudan. Both were received well by the audience and critics.
Abraham Ozler was supposed to be released for Christmas. However, it has been put off to 11 January 2024.
Midhun Manuel Thomas announced the new release date via his Facebook page on Monday, 4 December. However, the decision to postpone the release is not yet known.
Biggies like Salaar, Dunki, and Neru are releasing for Christmas this year.
Randheer Krishnan wrote the script of Abraham Ozler.
While Jayaram plays the titular role, Abraham Ozler has an ensemble cast — Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, Senthil Krishna, Arya Salim, Anoop Menon, Jagadish, and Dileesh Pothan.
Abraham Ozler is expected to be a comeback film for Jayaram in Malayalam. The actor has been busy with Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil movies. His roles in the Ponniyin Selvan series, Ghost (Kannada) and Kushi (Telugu) were well-appreciated.
