Naslen and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s upcoming film under the direction of Dominic Arun now has a title.
The film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan, under his production house, Wayfarer Films. On Sunday, 8 June, they shared the first look poster of the film, along with the title of the film.
The film is titled Lokah Chapter One: Chandra. From the first look, Kalyani Priyadarshan is seen in a warrior role, with a dragger in hand. Behind her is Naslen, with a scared expression, letting out a scream. The background of the poster shows war and destruction.
Sharing the poster, the production house wrote on X: “Unveiling Lokah — a world where legends come alive. Chapter One: Chandra.”
Actor Santhy Balachandran has written an additional screenplay for Lokah Chapter One: Chandra. The film also stars Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Vijayaraghavan, Raghunath Paleri, Sarath Sabha, Nithya Shri, and Nishanth Sagar in key roles.
On the technical front, the film has Nimish Ravi as its director of photography, Jithu Sebastian as its art director, and Jawan fame Yannick Ben as its stunt director.
This venture is the second film of Kalyani Priyadarshan in collaboration with Wayfarer Films. In Varane Avashyamund, she was paired up with Dulquer Salmaan. It also featured Shobana and Suresh Gopi in the lead roles.
Naslen rose to fame with his box office hit Premalu (2024). The film, set in Hyderabad, was a coming-of-age story of a Malayali couple. His last release Alappuzha Gymkhana also received good reviews, and is set to release on the OTT platform.
The OTT platform describes the film as “Welcome to Alappuzha Gymkhana – where every failure becomes a funny comeback, and every heartbreak turns into a high-five.”
