Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu is all set to make his Tamil debut in Vikram’s forthcoming movie, tentatively titled Chiyaan 62.
The actor has received the Kerala State Award for Best Comedian three times. He has also won the National Award for Best Actor in 2013 for his performance in Perariyathavar.
Suraj Venjaramoodu is known for his excellent performance in films like Android Kunjappan (2019), The Great Indian Kitchen (2021), Jana Gana Mana (2022), and Driving License (2019).
Directed by Chithha (2023)-fame SU Arunkumar, Chiyaan 62 also features actor-director SJ Suryah in the lead role.
Riya Shibu is producing the film under the banner of HR Pictures.
GV Prakash is the music director.
Currently, the film is in the pre-production stage. The shooting will begin in April.
More details regarding the film’s title and other cast and crew are yet to be revealed by the makers.
Vikram will next be seen in PA Ranjith’s Thangalan, which will hit the screens this year.
His movie Dhruva Natchathiram, directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon, is still awaiting its release date.
