Late actor Uday Kiran’s sister claims he received good support from Chiranjeevi

The late actor Uday Kiran was one of the prominent heroes in the Tollywood industry. His early career saw a string of blockbuster hits.

Recently, Uday Kiran’s sister Sridevi recalled her brother’s untimely demise and shared some interesting insights of her brother’s life.

She disclosed that Uday Kiran had been an ardent fan of Chiranjeevi since childhood. She also reminisced about Uday’s excitement upon shaking hands with Chiranjeevi at a film event.

Sridevi expressed gratitude for the immense support extended by Chiranjeevi when Uday Kiran ventured into the film industry. “Chiranjeevi was like a Godfather for her brother,” she said.

She mentioned that Uday Kiran often sought advice from Chiranjeevi regarding his films.

Notably, Sridevi clarified that she doesn’t want to blame anyone for the unfortunate circumstances that led to Uday Kiran’s untimely death on 5 January 2014.

Sridevi also opined that Chiranjeevi was not at fault in Uday’s case which became a hot topic on the internet.
