The actor-director talked about his four upcoming projects, while stating that the "Kirik Party" sequel would be different when it happened.

The Kannada film Kirik Party — released in 2016 — was an instant success. It earned director Rishab Shetty and actor Rakshit Shetty stardom status, while simultaneously serving as Rashmika Mandanna’s launchpad into the industry.
While Rishab eventually made Kantara, which has gone on to earn him global recognition, Rashmika scaled greater heights with back-to-back hits in both the Telugu and Tamil film industries. She is also racking up miles in Bollywood now.
Rakshit, on the other hand, has carved a niche for himself with critically acclaimed films like 777 Charlie.
With such history attached to Kirik Party, its sequel has always been the talk of tinsel town.
While no one from the film team has ever shot down the idea of Kirik Party 2, the director and the lead actor became busy with bigger projects.
Putting an end to the debate about whether there would be a sequel to Kirik Party, Rakshit hinted at possible plans for it. However, he made it clear that it would not likely be anytime soon.
The even better news is that Rakshit plans to do something different with the sequel whenever it does finally happen.
Rakshit is currently working on Sapta Sagaradaache Yello, directed By Hemanth Rao — who helmed Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu.
Apart from playing the lead role, Rakshit is also producing it under his own banner Paramvah Studios.
The movie has Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, with music from composer Charan Raj.

Post Sapta Sagaradaache Yello, Rakshit has three films lined up — Richard Antony, Punyakoti, and Midnight to Moksha.
Besides acting in it, Rakshit is also directing Richard Antony, which is being bankrolled by Hombale Films.
This will be followed by his most ambitious project Punyakoti, which is likely to be made in two parts.
Written by Rakshit for the screen, Punyakoti will have both parts directed by him. There are also reports of him producing the film.
Recently, it was rumoured that Rakshit might be part of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Thalapathy 67. His list of upcoming movies is his clarification regarding the rumours.
Rakshit stated that anything else fans read about him on digital media or elsewhere is false.
