With the Kannada films making it big across India and on the global stage, the pan-India phenomenon has resulted in star actors making their debut in multilingual projects in different languages.
The latest big news originates from Mollywood. It is about Fahadh Faasil, who recently wrapped up the shooting of his film Dhoomam which marks the entry of Hombale Films in Mollywood.
Dhoomam, now in its post-production stage, is directed by Pawan Kumar.
A little birdie told South First that Fahadh Faasil will soon join the sets of Bagheera, which is also being produced under the Hombale Films banner.
Written by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, it is directed by Dr Suri.
“Recently, actor Fahadh Faasil hinted at his debut in a Kannada film that is being produced by Hombale Films,” the birdie revealed.
Kannada film Bagheera features Roaring Star Srii Murali and Rukhmini Vasanth in the lead.
Actor Srii Murali recently sustained a minor injury while shooting an action sequence for Bagheera. He took to Twitter to thank his fans for their wishes for his speedy recovery.
“I got hurt while shooting an action sequence for Bagheera, and it was painful. However, the surgery on my leg has been successful and I will be back on my feet soon,” he tweeted.
Bagheera was initially planned with Prashant Neel as the director. But, sources say, his busy schedule and back-to-back movies including Salaar, another film starring Jr NTR, and the probable KGF 3 made the makers rope in Dr Suri as the captain of Bagheera.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on rocking star Yash to make his big announcement anytime soon.
