The Hindi version of the blockbuster Telugu film Hanu-Man will be premiered on the OTT platform Jio Cinema on 16 March.

Interestingly, the world television premiere of the Hindi version has also been scheduled for the same day on Colors Cineplex at 8 pm.

Earlier, there were reports that Hanu-Man will debut on Zee5 on 8 March. However, it did not happen. It is yet to be revealed when the Telugu original will get the OTT release date.

The Hindi version of the Indian superhero film, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, earned over ₹50 crore net at the box office.

Made with a budget of around ₹40 crore, Hanu-Man grossed over ₹350 crore worldwide. It thus became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024.

Directed by Prasanth Varma, Hanu-Man stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, and Vennela Kishore in key roles.

The music was composed by GowraHari, Anudeep Dev and Krishna Saurabh. It was produced by K Niranjan Reddy’s Primeshow Entertainment.

The makers released the dubbed versions of the flick — Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi — on the same day as the original, on 12 January for Sankranthi.

The film won rave reviews for its technical excellence, particularly the visual effects, impressive storytelling, and brilliant performances.

It started making an impressive collection at the box office on the opening day. It collected ₹2.85 crore from premiere shows alone. It earned a gross worth ₹12.35 crore in both Telugu states.

Similarly, the superhit film grossed ₹200 crore in just 10 days.

Hanu-Man marked the first instalment of Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe. The filmmaker has already announced the sequel — Jai HanuMan. The pre-production work has already begun.

Meanwhile, the 3D version of the film will reportedly be released in theatres this summer.
