The superhero film Hanu-Man has completed the 30-day run on more than 300 screens — which is considered a rare feat for a film that entered as an underdog for the Sankranthi festival last month.
Defying all expectations, the Teja Sajja-starrer emerged victorious by shattering several records at the box office in Tollywood.
Hanu-Man‘s remarkable performance at the box office has exceeded expectations every passing week. With packed theatres during the initial two weeks, the film’s got slightly declined.
The movie collected over ₹300 crore in just 25 days.
What distinguishes the flick from other hit films is that it continues to grab the attention even amidst new releases.
Meanwhile, the makers of Hanu-Man are planning to release the film in 3D. Related works have already begun.
A portion of the film was made in 3D and the team has screened at a multiplex in Hyderabad, which is learnt to have received positive feedback.
Hanu-Man was announced in May 2021. It’s set in the fictional place of Anjanadri and follows the story of Hanumanthu, who gains the powers of Lord Hanuman.
Directed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Niranjan Reddy, the movie stars Teja Sajja in the lead role.
