Shiva Rajkumar Ghost

Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar‘s maiden pan-India film Ghost is trending on social media for all good reasons. After the makers dropped the teaser on Wednesday, 12 June, marking the actor’s birthday, wishes galore flooded all over Twitter.

Some praised his looks and his swag, while others kept raving about the shades that are shown in the teaser.

The teaser of Ghost opens up with a bunch of gunmen searching for a target in an abandoned building. The background voice cautions them about the lurking danger and how unsafe it is to face him.

Then appears Shiva Rajkumar in a seemingly unusual manner — puffing a cigarette and relaxing as if nothing seems to harm him. He gulps down a panipuri after dipping it in a glass of alcohol — the trademark swag of the Superstar.

Undeterred by armed men who circled him, Shiva Rajkumar throws his drink to his back.

Then, the curtain lits up in fire with the touch of the embers from the cigarette. As the raging fire in the backdrop gives tense moments to the armed fighters in the scene, the inferno also describes how ruthless this gangster “Ghost” is.

The fire slowly gets extinguished itself, giving a clear sight of an imposing war tanker behind.

The background score amplifies the intensity of Shiva Rajkumar’s character “Ghost” as he says, “I have scared more people with my eyes than you can ever scare with your guns. They call me OG… Original Gangster”.
