The crew of Mohanlal’s upcoming Malayalam movie Empuraan is on a location hunt in the UK. The actor will appear as Ab’Raam Khureshi in this most-awaited film which is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster hit Lucifer.
The pictures of Prithviraj Sukumaran and his crew on a location hunt are trending on social media.
Tovino Thomas is also expected to join the L2: Empuraan team for the USA schedule in January 2024. The film is written by Murali Gopy.
According to reports, the shooting will begin in Kochi soon, and the schedule might get extended for six months.
Earlier, Mohanlal and Prithviraj were in Delhi for production work. Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his team were previously seen in Dubai for location recce.
The full-fledged shooting of L2: Empuraan will begin in January 2024 in the USA, the UK and Abu Dhabi. It is expected to be released in mid-2024.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj will complete his Hindi film and his Malayalam project Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil by December-end.
After the completion of L2: Empuraan, Mohanlal will be seen in the newly launched project Rambaan directed by Joshiy.
