Vishal apologised for not attending the pre-release event on Saturday, 20 April. “I apologise for not being able to meet everyone on Saturday. Especially the management, staff and students of Narasimha Reddy College. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we couldn’t make it, but perhaps this delay is for a greater purpose.”
He recalled promising to host the film’s success event at the college and engage with the students there.
“Despite my doctor’s advice to stay indoors, I felt compelled to come here to promote my film. With 109 stitches on my body, nothing can deter me from promoting Rathnam,” Vishal added.
Distributor Satish expressed his happiness about acquiring the rights for Rathnam in the Telugu states.
He said, “Vishal’s films consistently entertain Telugu audiences, and we hope Rathnam to be a blockbuster. The movie carries director Hari’s signature blend of action and emotion.”
He added: “While Hari’s previous films have been known for their fast-paced screenplay and intense action, Rathnam offers more than just that; it boasts compelling content enriched with emotion and sentiment that will appeal to family audiences.”
