The censor board has given Vishwak Sen’s forthcoming movie Gaami an ‘A’ certificate.
This means that the film is not suitable for families to watch along with children.
This rule has been enforced in multiplexes strictly for a while.
When Prabhas’ movie Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire faced a similar issue, some audiences in Hyderabad argued with the theatre staff as they believed Prabhas’ movies were family-friendly. However, there were no restrictions on the OTT platforms.
Gaami features Vishwak Sen as an Aghora. It is a spiritual thriller with raw episodes, action, and violence.
The censor board believes some scenes may be too intense for children, especially those shot in the Himalayas. Therefore, it gave an ‘A’ certificate to Gaami.
