Bollywood star Aamir Khan in Chennai for mother’s treatment

Says a source in the film industry, “Aamir sir hasn’t relocated to Chennai as is being reported by some sections of the media. He has come down here to be next to his mother who is undergoing treatment.”

The source added, “He intends to stay for a month and is at the moment, staying at a hotel close to the hospital, where his mother is receiving treatment.”

The actor, whose last film Laal Singh Chaddha (2022) didn’t do all that well at the box office, seems to have taken a break professionally to pay attention to pressing matters on the personal front.

Aamir Khan has already disclosed in an interview to a news channel that he will himself be producing his next film titled Sitaare Zameen Par.

Interestingly, the theme of Sitaare Zameen Par will be the same as that of his superhit film Taare Zameen Par (2007).
