Tovino Thomas’ ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’ collects ₹40 crore worldwide

Anweshippin Kandethum collection put at ₹40 crore worldwide

Tovino Thomas added yet another feather to his cap through Anweshippin Kandethum.

The movie, based on two different murder mysteries set in the 1990s, won the hearts of the Malayalam audience and critics alike.

Directed by debutant director Darwin Kuriakose, Anweshippin Kandethum is produced by Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams.

It is scripted by Jinu V Abraham and has an ensemble of actors including Arthana Binu, Sadique, Shammy Thilakam, and Pramod.

Anweshippin Kandethum earned a gross collection of ₹40 crore worldwide. The film is running to packed houses in the fourth week.

Recently, the makers unveiled the second success teaser.

Sharing the success teaser on social media, Tovino wrote: “Get ready to witness the euphoria! Our success trailer is here to blow your minds. #AnweshippinKandethum is running successfully in your nearby theatres!!”

As per reports, the digital rights of Anweshippin Kandethum have been sold to Netflix for a whopping amount.

The music of the film was composed by Santosh Narayanan. Gautam Shankar cranked the camera.

Being an investigative film, Anweshippin Kandethum showcases murder mysteries realistically, which won laurels from one and all.

Meanwhile, February 2024 seems to have turned out to be a profitable month for the Malayalam industry with four films attaining hit status at the box office —  Premalu,  Bramayugam, Anweshippin Kandethum, and Manjummel Boys.
