Tovino Thomas plays a cop in Anweshippin Kandethum

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has three major releases this year — Nadikar, Ajayante Randam Moshanam, and Anweshippin Kandethum.

Anweshippin Kandethum is touted to be an investigative thriller where Tovino Thomas appears as a sub-inspector of police Anand.

During a promotional event, Tovino Thomas said the team was delivering a good product to the audience.

“We believe that the film (Anweshippin Kandethum) will offer a good experience to you. It is an engaging movie, and we are not making any false promises,” he said.

Tovino Thomas also requested the people to watch the flick in theatres and form their own opinions rather than seeking the opinions of others.

Tovino’s father part of Anweshippin Kandethum

Interestingly, Tovino Thomas’ father too is acting in Anweshippin Kandethum.

According to producer Dolwin Kuriakose, they thought of casting an actor-director as Tovino’s father in the movie. But they changed their plan and asked Tovino if his dad would be a part of the cast. Tovino asked Dolwin to check with his father.

When Dolwin briefed the character to Thomas, he readily gave a nod for the role.

Darwin Kuriakose has directed Anweshippin Kandethum. It is produced jointly by Yoodlee Pictures and Theatre of Dreams.

The script is written by Jinu V Abraham.

Anweshippin Kandethum also features Siddique, Indrans, Shammy Thilakan, and Baburaj in the supporting roles.

An intriguing trailer was released by the makers recently.

Santhosh Narayanan is the music director. Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer. Saiju Sreedharan is the editor.

The Malayalam film will be released in theatres on 9 February

Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas is busy shooting for his forthcoming flick Identity.
