Tamil Nadu BJP Chief K Annamalai on Monday, 31 October, visited the Kottai Eswaran temple in Ukkadam, Coimbatore.

A car blast had occurred near the temple on October 23 killings its sole occupant, Jamesha Mubin (29).

The BJP has been mounting pressure on the DMK government and even accused it of intelligence failure and minority appeasement.

Annamalai had alleged DMK government delayed handing over the sensitive probe to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

The DMK government, however, has hit out at Annamalai saying the BJP was politicising the blast and trying to disturb communal harmony in the state.
