Bengaluru’s LGBTQI community came together as part of the Karnataka Queer Habba on Sunday, 27 November, with thousands joining the event in solidarity.

With the city police denying permission for a march citing a High Court ruling, large gatherings were held at the Freedom Park and Samsa Bayalu Rangamandira to mark the celebrations.

Participants boarded buses decked with ‘Ride With Pride’ banners to reach these locations. Programmes included singing, testimonies and speeches on civil rights.
