Tamil Nadu students attacked in JNU, Chief Minister MK Stalin demands action by VC

ABVP denied attacking students and claimed that Left Wing students had vandalised portraits of Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin condemned the attack on students from the state by ABVP activists in JNU.

Terming the attack cowardly, Stalin demanded action by the VC against those guilty.

ABVP, however, denied attacking students and claimed that Left Wing students had vandalised portraits of Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Leaders from Congress, VCK and other Opposition parties also condemned the attack. Jothimani from the Congress said the BJP was against people from Tamil Nadu.
