Stuck in traffic, Bengaluru doctor runs 3 km to operate on a patient

The Surgical Gasteroenterologist decided to make the run to the hospital after his car got stuck in a the busy city traffic.

A Bengaluru doctor, Dr Govind Nandkumar, on Monday, 12 September, ran for 45 minutes to cover the 3 km distance to the hospital to operate on a patient.

He is a consultant in Surgical Gastroenterology at the Manipal Hospitals in Sarjapur.

His car was stuck in traffic and so he decided to take matters into his own hands and ran to operate the patient. Bengaluru traffic is quite infamous for keeping people on the roads for hours
