‘Son rise’ in DMK as Udhayanidhi Stalin takes oath as minister

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin sworn in as minister in the state cabinet.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin was on Wednesday, 14 December, sworn in as minister in the state cabinet.

He was administered the oath of office by Governor RN Ravi. Udhayanidhi has been made Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development.

He will also handle Special Programme Implementation, Poverty Alleviation Programme and Rural Indebtedness.

Udhayanidhi is an MLA from the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency. Reacting to comments on dynasty politics, Udhayanidhi maintained that his work will be the response to his critics.
