The Thrissur police have registered a case against SFI District Secretary Hassan Mubarak and five others after they barged into a college principal’s office and threatened him with dire consequences.

The incident took place at Maharajas Technological Institute on October 25 and a video of the SFI leader threatening to break the principal’s limbs has gone viral.

SFI alleged that the principal had used force on a student on campus. Mubarak can be heard threatening the principal.

Police said students protested after one of them alleged the principal had used force to remove a cap from his head on campus.

College authorities called in the police when the protests began. In the CCTV, Mubarak and his aides are seen storming into the office and threatening the principal even as two cops stood mute spectators.
