Rohith Shahdat Diwas to mark Dalit scholar’s 7th death anniversary

Students took out a march at the University of Hyderabad campus on Tuesday, 17 January, and held a memorial meeting to mark the 7th death anniversary of Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula.

Students marked the day as ‘Rohith Shahdat Diwas’. Rohith’s mother Radhika Vemula and Bhim Army President Chandrashekar Azad took part in the event. Rohith ended his life on January 17, 2016.
