Reporter’s Take: Political row over businessman naming BJP MLA in suicide note

The BJP and Congress locked horns over the suicide of a businessman who blamed ruling party MLA Aravind Limbavali among others responsible for his death.

In his 8-page note, Pradeep (47) stated that Limbavali had intervened in a financial transaction but later refused to help recover almost a crore.

Pradeep had shot himself in the head while in his car near Nettigere on 1 January.

Congress hit out at the BJP for not taking any action against Limbavali while the police have booked him for abetment to suicide.
