Odanadi Seva Samsthe calls for a protest rally against Chitradurga Murugha Matha seer on Saturday, 10 September. Thousands gather in solidarity for the two minor girl victims sexually abused by the pontiff of Murugha Matha.

Several organisations, academicians, activists, students and theatre personalities showed up in solidarity.

The rally started at Kanaka Circle in Chitradurga at 12 noon and ended at the district collector office near Bal Bhavan (CWC) at 3.30 pm.

The agitators handed over the memorandum to the Tahasildar who collects it on behalf of the Collector.

The agitators demanded a court-monitored probe or investigation by an independent agency.
