BJP MP from Mysuru Pratap Simha stoked controversy over dome-like structures on a bus shelter in Mysuru.

Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah lashed out at the MP saying the BJP was indulging in issues to disturb communal harmony.

Simha gave an ultimatum to engineers and threatened to raze the dome-like structures on the roof of the bus shelter located on Nanjangud Road.

On social media, Simha was trolled for his communal comment with many posting pictures of historical monuments which have domes.

Simha, however, defended his comments and said the domes would be razed but not the bus shelter.
