Mangaluru Blast: Prime suspect’s room raided, explosive materials found

The police have found explosive materials and circuits used in IEDs from the house of Mangalore blast prime suspect Shariq’s room in Mysusu.

The police have found explosive materials and circuits used in IEDs from the house of Mangalore blast prime suspect Shariq’s room in Mysusu.

Shariq had used a fake identity to rent a room in the city. On Monday 21 November, Shariq’s relatives were called to the hospital to identify him.

The initial probe has revealed similarities in the blasts in Mangaluru and Coimbatore on 23 October.

Police are also questioning some aides of Shariq.
